The below death notification has been reprinted here from Volume 3, Issue 4 of the Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society Newsletter in November 1977.
We report the death on October 2, 1977 of a charter member of C.C.G.X, Mrs Fred W. (Georgetta) Hessenaurer. The daughter of Aaron and Berta (Aukerman) Maple, she married on April 18, 1931 Fred W. Hessenauer, who preceded her in death, July 20, 1956. A son, Rev. Harold Hessenauer, died in 1973. She is survived by a brother-in-law, Walter Hessenauer, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery October 5, 1977.
