Member Linda Collins will present practical advice on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for genealogy, with a focus on ChatGPT, a free program. She will demonstrate picture creation and enhancement; writing an ancestor’s life story; creating a quizzes and poems; researching places in historical context and generating maps; breaking through genealogical brick walls; and transcribing handwritten documents. The uses of AI in genealogy are only limited to your imagination!

The America 250 Traveling Exhibit will be at the Ohio Genealogical Society from August 18 to August 22 and August 25 to 28, 10-4. This exhibit is sponsored by Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the American Battlefield Trust. There are twelve informative 6X3 color posters and talking kiosks depicting various topics and persons from the American Revolution. This exhibit has appeared at many prestigious locations such as state capitols.
From 2 to 3 pm each day, a program will be presented by the Richland County Genealogical Society or DAR. Come hear an exciting program and visit this unique exhibit celebrating America’s heritage!
