Class of 1897

Bertha Poister is a typesetter for the Evening Enquirer, Galion.

Bertha Reisinger was a stenographer in the office of A. W. Metheany up to the time of her marriage to Dr. Morris Matthias. She is living in Galion.

Bertha Gugler attended Wooster University for some time and has been teaching in the Galion schools. She is now teaching the primary grade at the South Building.

Nellis Hackedorn is a stenographer in the Standard Oil Company’s office at Cleveland.

Carl Henkel entered Ann Arbor University and graduated from the law school. He was admitted to the Ohio bar, and located in Galion. Was elected City Solicitor, and later Prosecuting Attorney of Crawford County, which position he still holds.

Anna Helmuth married Mr. Wilber Blyth and shortly after her marriage removed to Cleveland, Ohio.

Harvey Heiser filled a position in the Erie offices in Galion for some time. Later he was transferred to Buffalo, N.Y. where he is still engaged by the Erie R.R.

Katherine King is a nurse in Columbus, O.

Norma Allen married Mr. Smith and is now living in Elyria, Ohio.

Oliver Barr married Mr. C. H. Henkel and is living in Galion.

Will Miller attended Art School at Cincinnati for two years, and is now engaged in art work at Cleveland,

Myrtle Moore is a stenographer in the office of the A. Howard Buggy Co. in Galion.

Grace Boice was married in 1902 to Fred C. Miller and lives in Galion.

Florence Barker was married in 1903 to Mr. Will Goshorn and resides in Galion.

Samuel Cook was a clerk for the Erie R.R. up to the time of his death in 1906.

Wood Colver attended DePauw University and is now an optician in Middletown, Ind.

Mary Reagle taught in the Galion schools for some time but was forced to give up the profession on account of ill health. She is still living in Galion.             Arthur Traul studied at Starling Medical University, Columbus, and located at North Robinson, Ohio, where he is a practicing physician.
