Help a Genealogist — Need PARCHER Connection for DAR

Ohio Genealogist, Janet Bornhoeft, needs a documented connection for Simeon PARCHER in order to apply to DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution).

According to Janet’s research, Simeon PARCHER was born 1788/9 in either Maine or Vermont. A birth certificate or church record of the birth has not been found. Daniel PARCHER (b. 1756, d. 1808) is his father and Patience HARFORD (b. 1763, d. 1830) is his mother. Simeon’s siblings are: Benjamin (b. 1784), Samuel (b. 1791), John (b. abt. 1794), Asenath (b. 1799), George (b. 1800), Icy (b. 1803), Lyman (b. 1804)

Simeon married Roxavannah BRIGGS (b. 1800) in 1815 in New York. Their children include: John (b. 1817), Harriet (b. 1818), Royal (b. abt. 1820/21), Elias (b. 1843), Simon (b. 1827), George (b. 1830), Delane (b. 1833).
